Because Jet is freakishly cool...
Ufufufufufufu....I used to think he was a bastard...  After watching Lake Laogai I was so sad... TT_TT Lake Laogai will be the next episode to show on Nickelodeon on Astro, this Saturday at 5pm (they keep repeating AtLA over and over again...  ).Jet forever!!!  Uh, Sokka and Zuko are still my favourite guys from Avatar: The Last Airbender though, somehow Jet's got a certain degree of coolness to him...IT'S THE SWORDS I TELL YA!  Okay, the perspective of his swords are so off, I know... And I didn't leave out his trademark wheat-in-the-mouth trait, although you can't really see the wheat...  And he looks younger, BAH his face is so hard to draw, I mean not the shape or anything, it's the expression, it's the Jet smugness I can't seem to get right!!  This is a very simple sketch, you can see them guidelines and messy stuff everywhere. Because Jet is so cool, I sacrificed some of my exam study time to draw him...and since I'm gonna be doing my exams this whole week, you'll probably be seeing more Avatard work from me....
